Thanks to our volunteers we have been able to allow over 8,000 DuPage County community members to live a healthier life. As the numbers of enrollees are growing so is the need for volunteers. By volunteering your time, you are growing the common good of the DuPage community.

The following are volunteer opportunities

• General office assistance
• Graphic design and web design assistance
• Medical Assistance (doctors and nurses)
• Fund raising assistance

Medical Assistance

• Description

  Access DuPage is seeking primary and specialty care physicians willing to accept limited and predetermined volumes of uninsured patients in their offices for medical care and treatment

• Skills

  MD/DO on staff at local DuPage County Hospital
     Patients are typically seen in MD office setting
   

  

General Office Assistance

• Description

  A General office assistant would be responsible for doing the basic office work. These tasks would include but not limited to making copies, preparing the materials for mailing, and filing. Depending on skill level some projects may require more initiative and fallow through.

• Skills

  Computer skills, while always desirable, are not required. Bilingualism is a great asset, but also not a requirement.
   

   

Graphic Design and Web Design Assistance

• Description

  Access DuPage would love the assistance of a graphic designer interested in volunteering for periodic office projects or publications. Another area of great need would be assistance with website maintenance and updates. Flexible with time but would like someone to be able to spend at least 4 hours a month.

• Skills

  Computer skills, creativity is not required but always a plus. 
   

   

Fundraising Assistance

• Description

A fundraising assistant would be responsible for planning our annual fundraising events, as well as smaller events through out the year. 

• Skills

  Creative, enthusiastic, well organized, leadership experience is always a plus and computer skills are always desired
