Thanks to our volunteers, we have enabled over 8,000 DuPage County community members to lead a healthier life. As the number of enrollees is growing so is the need for volunteers. By volunteering your time, you are improving the welfare of the DuPage community.

The following are volunteer opportunities:

• General office assistance
• Graphic design and web design assistance
• Medical Assistance (doctors and nurses)
• Fund raising assistance

Medical Assistance

• Description

  Access DuPage is seeking primary and specialty care physicians willing to accept limited and predetermined volumes of uninsured patients in their offices for medical care and treatment.

• Skills

  Must be a MD/DO on staff at a local DuPage County hospital
  Patients are typically seen in MD office setting.
   

  

General Office Assistance

• Description

  A general office assistant would be responsible for doing basic office work. These tasks would include but are not limited to making copies, preparing materials for mailing, and filing. Depending on skill level some projects may require more initiative and follow through.

• Skills

  Computer skills, while always desirable, are not required. Bilingualism is a great asset but also not a requirement.
   

   

Graphic Design and Web Design Assistance

• Description

  Access DuPage would love the assistance of a graphic designer interested in volunteering for periodic office projects or publications. Another area of great need would be assistance with website maintenance and updates. The position is flexible, but at least 4 hours each month is preferred.

• Skills

  Computer skills are required, and creativity is advantageous.
   

   

Fundraising Assistance

• Description

A fundraising assistant would be responsible for planning our annual fundraising events, as well as smaller events throughout the year. 

• Skills

  Creative, enthusiastic, well organized, leadership experience is always a plus, and computer skills are desired
